The cover of the last two printings of the eighth edition (1976-1979) features a painting by Joseph Csatari titled All Out for Scouting. Csatari began his association with the BSA in 1953, first as a layout artist for advertising, and later as art director for Boys' Life. After Rockwell's death in 1978, Csatari continued the Rockwell series of traditionally themed paintings.
