Mike Widener

Faculty Profile

Mike Widener is the Rare Book Librarian at the Lillian Goldman Law Library, Yale Law School, and previously was Head of Special Collections at the Tarlton Law Library, University of Texas at Austin, School of Law. He edited Public Services Issues with Rare and Archival Law Materials (Haworth Press, 2001), and was a consultant to the law libraries at Texas Tech University, St. Mary’s University, and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México on their rare book collections. He is the 2012–13 Chair of the Legal History & Rare Books Special Interest Section, American Association of Law Libraries, and is a member of the Grolier Club.
