Phase 2

February 2013:
Construction begins...

A temporary wall is erected in the hallway to enclose construction.

Our new hallway and gallery, looking past Seminar B and into the collections workroom.

January 2013:
Demolition!

Summer 2012:

The space renovated during Phase 1 gets put to use.

Breakfast in the new Reception Area.

A student in the new Reception Area works on her "woodcut" for Terry Belanger's course Book Illustration Processes to 1900.

Observing paper chain lines in The History of European & American Papermaking, taught by Timothy Barrett and John Bidwell.

Studying manuscripts in Consuelo Dutschke's Introduction to Paleography, 800–1500.

Reception following an evening lecture.

Students from Albert Derolez's Introduction to Western Codicology during the final reception.
