D. W. Krummel

D. W. Krummel is Professor Emeritus of Library Science and Music at the University of Illinois at Urbana. His many books on music printing and the history of bibliography include Bibliographies, Their Aims and Methods (1984) and The Literature of Music Bibliography (1992), and he co-edited the Norton Grove handbook on Music Printing and Publishing (1990). He is completing a study dealing with the history of the concept of bibliographical records.
