Bethany Nowviskie

Dr. Bethany Nowviskie is Director of Digital Research & Scholarship for the University of Virginia Library, a department which includes the Scholars' Lab, successor to UVa's internationally-known Electronic Text and Geospatial and Statistical Data centers. She also serves as Associate Director of the Scholarly Communication Institute and Vice President of the Association for Computers and the Humanities. Nowviskie trained as a textual scholar and has been active in the digital humanities for fourteen years. Her projects include the Rossetti Archive, Temporal Modelling, the IVANHOE Game, Juxta, Neatline, DH Answers, and NINES.
