Tom Congalton founded Between the Covers Rare Books with his wife Heidi in 1985; the firm specializes in c20 American books. He served as president of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America from 2000-02, and was elected president of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB) in September 2012.
