Amy Tims

Amy Tims is the Head, Cataloging & Description at the Lilly Library, Indiana University–Bloomington, where she leads the Lilly’s cataloging, archival, and stacks management teams. Previously, she worked at the American Antiquarian Society, where she started as a cataloger for the North American Imprints Program before transitioning into the role of Cataloging Initiatives Librarian. Currently, she serves as the co-chair for the Bibliographic Standards Committee of the Rare Books and Manuscript Section of the American Library Association, which creates and maintains special collections cataloging standards and tools, such as Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Materials (RDA Edition).
