Consuelo Dutschke
Consuelo Dutschke is Curator of Medieval and Renaissance Collections at Columbia University’s Rare Book & Manuscript Library, a position she has held since 1993. She is the author of the two-volume Guide to Medieval and Renaissance Manuscripts at the Huntington Library (1989) and co-founder, with Charles Faulhaber, of the online cross-institutional catalogue, Digital Scriptorium. In 2005 she was elected to the Comité international de paléographie latine, and has served on its board of councilors since 2010. In 2016, the Medieval Academy of America awarded her its Kindrick-CARA prize for Outstanding Service to Medieval Studies for her work in creating Digital Scriptorium.
