Sonia Hazard, Senior Fellow in the Andrew W. Mellon Society of Fellows in Critical Bibliography (SoFCB), SoFCB Council member, and guest editor of a special issue of Material Religion on “Religion and Material Texts in the Americas,” is hosting a celebration and presentation of the issue, with Q&A, via Zoom on Monday, 20 September 2021, 1:00–2:45 PM EDT. The event is sponsored by the Mellon Society of Fellows in Critical Bibliography at Rare Book School, the Center for the Study of Visual and Material Cultures of Religion, and the Florida State University Department of Religion. The special issue features work by SoFCB Fellows Martin Tsang and Steffi Dippold.
