RBS Announces Summer 2016 Course Schedule


We are excited to announce the 2016 Rare Book School summer course schedule! Along with 25 courses in Charlottesville, RBS will also offer courses at the Lillian Goldman Law Library and Sterling Memorial Library at Yale University in New Haven; and in Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania’s Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts and the Library Company of Philadelphia.

In 2016 we will welcome new faculty members Peter Shillingsburg (teaching course G-30: Printed Books since 1800: Description & Analysis); Roger Chartier and John H. Pollack (teaching course H-120: Textual Mobilities: Works, Books & Reading Across Early Modern Europe); and M. Michèle Mulchahey (teaching course M-20: Seminar in Western Codicology).

Applications for summer 2016 courses will be accepted beginning in early January.
