Lectures by Tom Mole & Michael Suarez on 17 March


On Thursday, 17 March, you are invited to join Rare Book School for two lectures:

At noon, Professor Tom Mole, Reader in English Literature and Director of the Centre for the History of the Book at the University of Edinburgh, will speak on “Scattered Odes in Shattered Books: Romantic Poems in Victorian Anthologies.” This talk will be held in Rare Book School’s Tanenbaum Seminar Room (118 Alderman Library). At 4 p.m., Rare Book School Director Michael F. Suarez, S.J. will deliver a lecture as part of the Virginia Festival of the Book: “Literacy in America: Crisis and Hope.” Michael will speak in the Auditorium of the Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library, and a reception will follow at Rare Book School (118 Alderman Library).
