RBS Announces Summer 2022 Schedule
The summer 2022 Rare Book School course schedule is available! Summer courses will be held at the University of Virginia in the Rotunda and adjacent buildings; the Latin American Library at Tulane University; the Firestone Library at Princeton University; the Wilson Library at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; the Sterling Memorial Library at Yale University; the Oak Spring Garden Library; the Grolier Club; the Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts at the University of Pennsylvania; the Library Company of Philadelphia; and the Free Library of Philadelphia.
Rare Book School is also hosting a series of 12-hour and 22-hour courses online this summer. These courses meet synchronously via Zoom over five consecutive days.
New courses for 2022 include:
- Paper as Bibliographical Evidence (G-75), taught by Cathleen A. Baker
- Material Foundations of Map History, 1450–1900 (H-65), taught by Matthew Edney
- Six Hundred Years of Botanical Illustration (I-50), taught by Peter Crane, Roger Gaskell & Amy Meyers
We are in the process of transitioning to a new myRBS system! Summer 2022 course applications will open in February through this new system. Please wait until the new myRBS launches before updating any personal information. Instructions for using the new myRBS will be available through our website.
