RBS Scholarship & Fellowship Applications Now Available

We are now accepting applications for the 2022 Rare Book School scholarship and fellowship cycle.

Applications are open for all RBS-awarded scholarships (for both first-time and returning RBS students), and for the M. C. Lang Fellowship in Book History, Bibliography, and Humanities Teaching with Historical Sources and the SoFCB Junior Fellows Program. Participation in the scholarship/fellowship program implies acceptance of the scholarship and fellowship Terms and Conditions.

To begin the application process, please log into your myRBS account (or create a new myRBS account). On the Home screen, click the “Apply for a Scholarship or Fellowship” button on the left side of the page. If you have any trouble with myRBS, see the FAQs page or email rbs_scholarships@virginia.edu.

The application deadline for all RBS scholarships is Tuesday, 1 November 2022 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The application deadline for the SoFCB Junior Fellows Program is Friday, 18 November 2022 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The application deadline for the M. C. Lang Fellowship is Thursday, 1 December 2022 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Scholarship applicants will be considered for all awards for which they are eligible (and should note that separate applications are required for the fellowship programs).
